1. Click on your account name
2. Click on Manage Users
3. Click on +Add User
4. Enter email address and select appropriate role or permissions for the new user
Administrator Role
Administrators of an account can perform most tasks available in the site. Please see more details and recommendations below:
- Admins can be added with an expiration date for temporary access or with no end date
- Admins can add new shipping addresses and shipping contacts
- Admins can grant access to standard users
- Admins cannot add or remove the Owner or Admin designation
- Admins cannot edit account info
Owner Role
Owners of an account can perform all tasks available in the site. Please see more details and recommendations below:
- Account owner will default to checked if you have created the restricted product account
- It is strongly recommended that you have 2 or more Owners per organization
- Owner role should only be granted to people within your organization
- You can assign someone externally (ie. Distributor, dealer) as an administrator to be able to do everything on your behalf but they would never be able to remove an Owner from the organization.
Permissions for users
When Neither is selected, individual permissions and an expiration date or no end date for the user must be indicated.
- Manage Addresses and Contacts - By granting this permission, you are allowing the user to:
- create and edit shipping addresses
- create and edit shipping contacts
- set and change default addresses for use on the authorization
TIP – user CANNOT actually create the authorization with this permission only.
- Create Authorization - By granting this permission, you are allowing the user to:
- act on your behalf by creating authorizations for the procurement of restricted key and cylinder products in your user account
TIP – user CANNOT add any additional addresses or contacts in the account with this permission only.
- View Account – There is not a selection here for a view only but if you go to Manage Users and click on an existing user, you can change their access to only View accounts
